the food + mood connection

For many years, we’ve been told that our mood disorders are caused by chemical imbalances in our brain, that we may be lacking certain neurotransmitters. On the surface, this makes a lot of sense, but is it true? Currently there is another line of thinking, with quite a lot of science to back it up, saying our current understanding may be wrong.
